Eastrington Parish Council
Welcome to Eastrington
Eastrington is a small village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated to the east of Howden and southeast of York.
The civil parish is formed by the village of Eastrington and the hamlets of Newland, Owsthorpe and Portington.
Eastrington has always been a predominantly agricultural village and it remains so today, despite it having several areas of new housing.
The village is served by Eastrington railway station on the Hull to Selby railway. Nearby Eastrington Ponds was designated a Local Nature Reserve in 2002 by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
The village has a Church, St Michael’s, Methodist chapel, Village hall, Primary School and the Black Swan public house.
